Terms of Service
Last updated: May 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and SnapRx (“SnapRx,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the SnapRx mobile application and related services (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Important Medical Disclaimer
SnapRx is a medication reminder and organization tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
- The App does not diagnose conditions, prescribe or recommend treatments, or verify the accuracy of any prescription.
- Information extracted from a label photo is generated automatically and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all medication details before relying on them.
- Reminders and refill alerts are provided as a convenience and may be delayed, missed, or affected by your device settings, notification permissions, connectivity, or other factors. Do not rely on the App as your only method of managing medications.
- Always follow the directions of your healthcare provider and pharmacist, and consult them with any questions about your medications. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
You assume full responsibility for your use of the App and for any decisions you make about medications.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements. You may create profiles to manage medications for members of your household, including minors, as the responsible adult account holder.
3. Your Account
You sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@snaprx.app of any unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
4. Subscriptions, Free Trial, and Billing
The App is offered on a subscription basis through your Apple App Store account, managed via our subscriptions provider, RevenueCat.
- Free trial. We may offer a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged automatically at the then-current price. Apple grants any introductory free trial only once per Apple ID.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing and canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Prices may change; we will give notice as required and changes will not apply to the current paid period.
- Refunds.Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly; refund requests are handled by Apple.
Current pricing is shown in the App at the time of purchase.
5. License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own household medication management, subject to these Terms. You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;
- interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or its security;
- access the App through automated means or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system;
- use the App to store or transmit anything other than your own genuine medication and household information.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the information you enter (your profiles, medications, doses, and settings). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that information solely to operate and provide the App to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it, including label-photo processing, cloud sync, analytics, and advertising measurement. Please review it.
8. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google, Supabase, Anthropic (Claude), openFDA, RevenueCat, and Meta. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or content. Drug information shown in the App may come from public sources (such as openFDA) and is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy or completeness.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE APP WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT REMINDERS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF ANY MEDICATION INFORMATION EXTRACTED FROM A PHOTO OR PROVIDED BY THIRD-PARTY DATA SOURCES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPRX AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM MISSED OR INACCURATE REMINDERS, ERRORS IN EXTRACTED OR DISPLAYED MEDICATION INFORMATION, OR ANY HEALTH OUTCOME, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US $50. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapRx and its owners, employees, and service providers from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida for any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Apple App Store Terms
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. These Terms are between you and SnapRx only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You agree to comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
